Funky 1960’s Shaped Retro Mirror in Annie Sloan Barcelona Orange Stag
Please note there is a varied quantity of hues of orange colours due to the lighting, the darker orange is more representative of the true colour.
Original 1960’s shaped mirror. Originally from a stag dressing table. Mirror plates have been added.
As with all stag pieces it is very well made with a teak frame and thick glass.
There is some rust coloured spotting to the glass that I hope you can pick up in the images.
I have used this paint as it actually matches with rust colour nicely and adds to the contemporary shabby chic look, accentuated also by the edges being sanded down lightly to expose the wood underneath

The mirror is in good condition and there is an eyelet to the back for hanging.
I then varnish.
To varnish we use a ‘Polyvine’ varnish.
This is a child, pet and food safe varnish.
We apply two coats of a ‘dead flat finish’ and a ‘satin finish’ so the finish has a sheen to it.
It is a hand finished mirror so the finish not a sprayed factory finish expect minor inconsistencies !
