A wonderful retro collection of prints by Stamatis Vassiliou. All dated 1964 and framed in what are classic white wooden retro frames. They paintings by Vassiliou are seen as classic Greek art - watercolours with a unique style. These particular paintings are of classic Greek scenes and cover multiple islands incl Santorini, MNAxos and Andros. Vassiliou was well know in GReece and actually painted many movie posters during the mid to late 1900s. If you have an affinity to GReece, or Retro prints, then these are super. The prints are in good condition, they are stuck onto a mottled off white paper mount. The painting of Santonini may have some spotting on it - hard to tell. The mounts though are water stained on a couple. The frame are very sound, but due to age and use and storage they have suffered some knocks and paint is chipped in places. They may also need a good wipe down. All glazed and all have wire for hanging, but two have loose wire. You could genuinely affix the wiring, clean these down and display them as is! great to have four to display.
