A wonderful lamp base and quality shade. Both vintage items, albeit different eras. The lamp base is classic retro painted cream wooden base. The shade more likely 1990s vintage - quality lined pleated shade. They go together so well - perfectly proportioned and matching in colours and styles.
The wooden lamp base has super turns and shape to it. It is in great condition with minor signs of wear etc. It is on a lovely felt base which prevents furniture scratching and has standard wiring etc. It is in working condition but has not been professionally tested. Long cable. Painted well in a cream colour.
The shade is a lovely cotton shade with a beige dashed pattern on it. Pleated and lined showing its quality. Lovely cone shape, just a subtle line to it. Sits perfectly on this base. In great shape with hardly any signs of age to it, except some marking on the top rim possibly from storage or dust collection.
