Fabulous 1970s retro leatherette matchwork pouf, ottomoan, foot stool, retro stool - 37cm w x 24cm h

A classic retro pouf. Likely 1970s and made in a fabulous patchwork style, reminiscent of a Turkish or Middle Eastern ottoman or pouf. Material used is a vinyl, leatherette, fake leather (vegan leather?). All in great retro colours of red, cream and brown. Super size as a foot stool , or stool /cushion for a smaller lighter person. Great addition to a retro themed room, or even a room with a little bit of bohemian quirk and in need of a funky accent.

This pouf is in great vintage condition. It isn't perfect there is a small hole in the base, a stain on one side, and a bit of binding missing underwise. It has also been cleaned but you could clean it up more for the colours to be a bit more vibrant. It is however in great shape considering its age and undoubted use.

I love this pouf - it is still sturdy and got a bit of oomph. It is funky in decoration and colour and is a great stand by cushion or stool for all sorts of things - your books, laptop, coffee mug, child, cat, etc!
