Exquisite Vintage RC Noritake Japanese Tea Set, Hand-Painted Porcelain Tea Set, Royal Crockery Noritake – Circa 1950s

Lovely mid century imported Japanese porcelain set of fine elegance, made by Noritake as part of their Royal Crockery, R.C. branding in the post WWII export boom. Delicately hand-decorated with intricate 24k gold floral and scrollwork detailing over a two tone creamy and white glaze, this porcelain tea service reflects the meticulous artistry and refinement typical of mid-century Japanese export china.

Marked “R.C. Made in Japan”, this set was produced by Noritake’s RC line, known for its quality porcelain and luxurious embellishments. The hallmark, paired with the ornate design, suggests this set was manufactured for Western export markets, particularly for discerning British and American households. It is a selection of 21 pieces perfect to mix and match with other similar sets or to an existing R.C. service you may have.

The pieces are delicate and the decoration intricate. The gilt has faded on some pieces, but still bright on others. The overall condition of the set is good vintage.
