Excellent early mid 1900s Frameless Oval Etched Mirror, large mirror 1930s-1950s, oval glass mirror, mid century mirror 68cm x 41cm

This is a wonderful example of an early to mid 1900s frameless glass mirror. Likely 1930s-50s. Large oval in landscape orientation with wonderful pretty floral engraving/etching to the top. and a circular etching around the frame. Delightful to look at and a perfect size for a bedroom or hallway. In great condition and has the original backing and chain.

For a truly vintage mirror, this piece is in vgc. No chips around the outside and only minor signs of age and use elsewhere. It is a heavy quality mirror - so this really is the real deal!

You can hopefully see in the photos a few of the tiny markings on the glass - completely normal for a mirror of this age, in fact, the mirror is in vgc. Handful of small black dots in places, and some slight silver degeneration in places around the edge. If you zoom into the photos you can hopefully see. What I would say is that the mirror has nothing significant to worry about, and if you like vintage charm and authenticity then the odd marks and sign will not bother you. This is not a mirror with a great big crack or chip.

Wonderful old vintage pice - probably coming up for 100yrs old. Superb quality and very attractive.
