This charming early 20th-century oak stool is a versatile and beautifully crafted piece. The frame, featuring classic turned legs and stretcher bars, showcases the elegance and durability typical of vintage oak furniture. The frame is in very good condition, solid and sturdy, with only minor marks that enhance its character.
The stool features a tapestry cushion that, while possibly not original, complements the piece beautifully and appears to be of the right age. The tapestry is in good condition with some wear to the edges and a small split underneath. Alternatively, the stool can be used without the cushion to reveal the lovely cane seat, which remains in very good condition for its age, with minor snags, splits, and a small area of damage.
This dual-purpose stool is a wonderful addition to any home, blending practicality with timeless vintage style. Whether used as a decorative piece, occasional seating, or a footrest, it brings both function and charm to any room.
