Collection of Vintage Embroidery Pictures. Embroideries.
A large collection of tapestries. They have all previously been in frames and so are very well preserved. Some are loose, some are attached to boarded backs.
Lots of different themes and styles, very much a eclectic mix.
They date from the 1920s to the 1980s.
On the whole the condition of all of them is very good. The large oriental one with the mount is sun bleached and the other one of the birds of paradise sits loosely within the mount and would benefit from an iron.
These are a very niche but popular medium, very much coming back into fashion
For scale the still life with the green mount is 46 x 43 cm.
