A classic 1970’s/80s mahogany style wine table. Lovely decorative base with tripod legs and turned column.
A green leatherette surface with gold highlights to the top. Faux leather is a real retro, 80s look and feel, and on a table like this, it gives a sense of classic antique - it is actually in really good condition and obviously perfect to ensure the wood doesn't get marked by a lamp or a spilled glass of wine! Perfect size for next to a sofa or armchair, in a corner with a lamp. Versatile and very easy to slot into many different types of decor.
The table is sturdy, but it is a lightweight table, so be aware or surface it is placed on. The base has some pieces which twist together so can be tightened, I think one piece might have been glued in the past. It is a very attractive vintage table in good condition.
On the whole it all gives the table an age worn look and a bit of character. A charming piece which would fulfil a number of uses around the house.
