This is a classic small vintage table lamp. From the retro period so likely 1970s. It is made out of shaped and turned onyx stone which is creams, browns and greens in its hues. The lamp has some metal detail too. It is sold as working and is a perfect small retro lamp for any room. Although retro, it can be brought up to date with a modern contemporary shade. An accent piece which can be dressed up or down.
The lamp is in good condition. The onyx has slight traces of wear but is otherwise in vgc. The metal is tarnished and marked in places giving it a sense of authenticity. The lamp takes standard bayonet bulbs and will be sent with a new plug, but the wiring remains the original. The lamp is sold as working.
