Classic Metal Retro Galleon Fire Screen. Worcester Ware
1930-50.
Made of tin or aluminium.
Very unusual, very distinctive art deco shape to it.
Curved top and curved base.
The galleon image is well preserved with some marks above the cross on the sail. There are other marks elsewhere in particular to the middle right hand centre and to the right hand side of the base.
There is a nut and bolt to each corner, however the centre is not secure. I am not sure if it ever was, certainly no evidence of any adhesive or holes so it sits loose. You can glue it I should think, however it sits fine unattached.
