These do work and the wiring appears to be in good order, but they have not been professionally tested. They sit on turned wooden bases. Superb and impressive ceramic lamps. Beautifully decorated with the subtle flowers and foliage. Crackle glazed finish. I don’t know why but there are two different sized brass plates to the tops, one sits at an angle. However when your lampshade is in situ this will not notice. Switches are on the bayonets. Height of bases 29 cm. Height of lamp including bayonet 37 cm
