The commode plant stand is about as quirky as you can get! These look just fantastic displaying plants, and with their previous Victorian practical use long gone, this is that perfect statement piece of aesthetics colliding with a previously unpleasant part of the household to a thing of beauty!
Made of solid mahogany with softer wood also to the inside. It has a tough finish that is well preserved, as you can see in the images.

The lid has some chips to it, there is the big round mark to the underside of the top and the ceramic liner has been glued to one edge. So not a lot wrong with it and for the age it is well preserved.
Lovely turned feet.
