Classic 80s Seascape Vista Lighthouse Oil Painting on Canvas in Gold Frame.
This is a really typical 80s oil painting. Signed Dillon.
It's been really well painted there is some fantastic detail throughout and it has a real sense of life to it. I love the different hues to the sky and the sea.
It is set within a wooden frame which has been covered in a moulded decoration and the original gold finish that you can see. On the whole apart from some wear to the corners this remains well preserved.
There are some surface marks to the oil painting especially to the top right and left. You should be able to see in the images as well and that there are cracks to the paint giving it a crackle glazed look which I actually think enhances the painting as it gives it a lovely age worn character. Eyelets and wire to the back for hanging purposes.
