A very chunky, but not heavy, wooden retro vintage table lamp. Gorgeous shape - lots of curves and edges. Very likely 1969s, maybe 70s. In super condition - sold as working at PAT tested.
Being a retro lamp, a big bold drum shade would work wonders. However a more traditional vintage shade in Bell or Empire style would work too. Of course you can match colours or go patterned - a wooden base can carry all sorts of things off!
As far as condition goes, the wood has got some signs of wear on it, a few minor scratches and then one larger 'marked' area on one of the top lips. You can see this in the photos. It has been stained to match the wood, but it is visible - although not very visible particularly if pointed away from the view and covered by a shade.
Great lamp for a hall way, living room or bedroom. A really super piece.
