Delightful Retro Gold Cherub Pair of Lamps with original vintage chiffon pink shades - working

I always fall in love with pairs of retro cherub lamps. They are so delightful and these are in such fabulous condition. Likely 1970s. Original resin or plaster I believe, covered in a wonderful gilt coloured paint.

Colouring has aged and so they have a non-uniform antique look about them. Whilst they are a pair of moulded candlestick figurine lamps, they are slightly different cherub poses - giving them a lot of intrigue and interest. Really super. The bases are in very good order - no chips or cracks or missing pieces. The gilt has worn in some places and occasional marks, but these all make the bases look retro and antique at the same time. There is a little dust in the cracks.

These lamps comes with their original chiffon pink lamp shades. The shades are so pretty; they are not in excellent order however. They could possibly be refurbed keeping them as original accompaniments, or they could be completely recovered or of course you could buy new. The shades do have markings, and occasionally tears, loose bits. The are lined and would have been top quality originally. Do have a look at the photos. They aren't completely unusable, depending on what you are after. They are not as excellent condition as the bases.

The lamps are in working order but have not been rewired nor professionally tested. They take standard bayonet lightbulbs and have good length flex, standard old plugs etc. Would look absolutely stunning atop a sideboard, on two coffee or end tables in a living room, in a hallway, or entry way or as bedside lamps. Lovely neo classical vintage lamps.
