Characterful Vintage Folding Fold Away Wooden Step Ladder.
DIY from over the decades! Probably mid-20th century. I think it is made of beech so it very good quality. Most of these are normally made of pine which is an inferior softer wood. For the age the ladder remains sturdy and it opens and closes still with ease.
As you can see there is plenty of evidence off the latter having a busy life with paint deposits and other signs of wear. So please take a good look at the images and use the zoom in facility to check the condition.
Apart from the obvious use these step ladders are great for display purposes.
