A bright and cheerful depiction of Holland Netherlands in the spring. Hundreds of Tulips line the canals in fields of flowers. Windmills still churn and pump water from the land. This lovely oil painting shows the countryside where flowers are grown and the world moves at a slightly different pace. What could be more beautiful than visiting the flower fields - this painting really entices you to go and visit! Likely an amateur artist completed this - completed from a visit perhaps? Great to get the scenery (very flat!), the machinery (the windmills) and the flowers in the painting. It is in very good condition and is frame in a lovely light wood vintage frame. A really good size. The frame has some water staining on it and minor markings commensurate with age.
