A lovely shape - vintage brass antique style metal table lamp. Quite tall and sitting on a good sized round base. Lovely brushed finished. Made for BHS - that wonderful iconic British high street department store. Possibly made in the 1990s. And still in very good condition.
The lamp is vintage so although in very good condition it isn't perfect - but it is ever so close to it! there are marks on the metal which to be honest all add to the antique finish. And due to the nature of brushed finish there are scratches as you would expect. But it really is in good shape and can easily be displayed.
This super looking lamp is sold as working. I have tried it myself. It is not however professionally tested. All looks up to date. Up to 100w bulb, plastic sheathed plug etc.
I think this lamp would carry off any style lamp shade - modern, traditional, retro. Take your pick and of course your choice of material would be fine too as it is neutral and would fit into all colour schemes.
