Bespoke Vintage Retro Square Painted White and Gold Wall Mirror Hand Painted. Farrow and Ball.
The mirror was made in the 1980s or 90s and is made of solid wood. It is very sturdy and of sound quality.
I have applied two coats of a primer hand 3 further top coats of Farrow and Ball Wimborne White estate eggshell. This has a soft sheen to it.
Farrow and Ball describe it as thus-
‘This just off white is named after the market town of Wimborne in Dorset and home to Farrow & Ball. Only a shade away from a pure white, the addition of the smallest amount of warm yellow pigment creates a very versatile shade which is just a little softer than All White.’
I have applied three coats of an artists gold acrylic to the aperture and the outside of the frame and I have wire woolled this down to numb the gold a little and leave a shabby chic effect.
The glass is well preserved and in good condition and that is string to the back for hanging as also a metal plate should you prefer.
