This is a superb genuine vintage painted mirror.
I would date this from the 1920s.
Wonderful distinctive carved effect frame.
I bought this as you see it so I have no idea what brand of paint was used, suffice to say it is light green with a soft sheen finish. The finish is very good. As you can see in the images there are a few places where the paint has been chipped. It has been painted to a high standard.
Great to see that the original bevelled glass is still very well preserved and in great condition.
Boarded backing and a rather wonderful original decorative chain.
This is a lovely original hand painted bespoke mirror and would look great anywhere in the house. Add some contemporary shabby chic to your vintage home.
