This piece is a wonderful reimagining of a classic 1970s or 1980s wooden display cupboard. Many of these were made during that time, but it’s rare to see one so thoughtfully reinvented. Someone has clearly spent a great deal of time and care on this project, and the result is truly charming.

The cupboard has been painted in a rich, dark turquoise, likely using chalk paint, and carefully distressed to create a shabby chic finish. This look is further enhanced by a beautifully varnished decoupage, featuring an individual and chintzy patterned design that adds a unique touch of character.
