Stunning Bespoke Green Vintage Standard Lamp.
Early to mid-20th century.
Made of beech so very good quality.
Originally it would have had a dark stain.
I bought the lamp as you see it so I cannot verify the brand of paint or specific colour.
Seems to have an undercoat and then a couple of coats of the green, you can vaguely see the white of the undercoat underneath and the top part seems to have been painted gold at some point so some of that shows through very vaguely, so I’d say 98% coverage. So, a very contemporary shabby chic look.
It look relatively recently painted and on the whole is still very well preserved and in great condition.
There are some minor marks so please take a good look at the images.
There is a small area to the bottom where there is a small chip of paint, shown in the images.
It will need rewiring but does have the bayonet.
It splits into two pieces, the column and the base and will be sent as such, will take a minute to screw back together.
