Begonia Winter Gem - vintage flower print in metallic frame, good medium size (32cm x 42cm)

The print of this Begonia a "Winter Gem" is truly vintage and may even date back to 30s and 40s - however the frame is more 1980s. The print is lovely very pretty depcition of a Begonia on faded yellowing paper. There is a slight crease to the left hand side of the print. The mount is also on the older side - perhaps the print and mount have been reframed in more recent 40 years! The frame is from West Germany - so clearly pre the Berlin Wall coming down - earlu 1980s I would hazard. It is scuffed and scratched in places but perfectly presentable. It is glazed and ready to hang either on a hook using one of the plates or using the strong behind. Overall there is some mottling on the mount too.
This print would hang wonderfully anywhere in the house - could be apart of a botanical collection perhaps, or brightening up a corner space. Perhaps someone you know has green fingers and is quite partial to begonias - this could make a lovely present. A super vintage charm about it.
