Beautiful Vintage Mahogany Victorian Sideboard Cupboard Dresser Chiffoniere

Apart from some marks to the surface this sideboard is in fantastic condition.
It is a beautiful example of top quality Victorian furniture décor.
It does split into two and the top is screwed to the back of the base. It is affixed sturdily although you could of course add mirror plates to the top to secure too the wall.
The top is in near perfect condition it is totally intact with just what I would describe as some variation to the finish within the panel front.
There are some marks to the top to the rear left. These tops are normally prone to spitting and I'm delighted to say this has not split, neither have the sides or the panel doors of which in my time I've just seen so many sideboards like this spoiled by splits, but this one is genuinely of a far superior build.
These are generally quite rickety but this is made of good solid pine with the mahogany veneer finish.
The drawer is clean and runs well.
The inside of the cupboard is clean as well and the doors work well. These are normally out of sync on most sideboards like this. There are two bolts to the left hand door and there is a key which doubles up as a handle but I cannot get it to work, maybe it just needs an oiling but I'm selling this without a working lock.
This is an outstandingly attractive sideboard and in very good condition. These are practical for storage and of course for displaying and actually just make really attractive dressers.
Ornamental yet practical.
