Probably from the 1980s. Made of either iron or steel.
It is in a lovely rustic age worn condition.
Originally painted black, they have picked up mild surface rust over the years. I have pretty much left the finish as I found it. I have given it a quick wipe over with some wire wall and some oil.
There has been no erosion of the metal by the rust so these are just as robust as when they were made.
I personally love the contrasts of the original finish and the surface rust however you can of course refurbish this yourself if you wish.
What I like about these is that they are very stylish but also an understated unobtrusive design.
