This beautifully crafted vintage wall mirror dates back to the 1920s and showcases exceptional craftsmanship. Originally part of a dressing table, it has been thoughtfully repurposed as a standalone wall mirror.
The solid oak frame features decorative chevron-style veneer joints, seamlessly arranged around the oval edge to create a geometric, early to mid-century aesthetic. The wood has been stripped back to reveal its natural golden hue and has a worn wax finish that accentuates the beautiful oak grain. Faint evidence of the original axis movement holes can be seen at the top and bottom, adding a touch of historical character.
The mirror retains its original high-quality thick bevelled glass, which is in very good condition for its age, with only a few tiny blemishes that add vintage authenticity. The back is boarded and fitted with new eyelets and a piece of thick wire for wall attachment, which you may choose to change or upgrade according to your preference.
This unique piece would make a stunning addition to any home, blending vintage charm with timeless elegance.
