Beautiful Original Pastel Painting ‘Cloud Study’

This is a gorgeous pastel completed by M Dell on Clouds but it presents so much more to the viewer. The clouds are truly magnificently captured, but so is the wetland in the foreground with bushes and rushes around it. Similarly you can see a farmhouse and oasthouse to the left hand side - as this painting was done in East Sussex / Kent border area these oast houses were used for hop drying many years ago.

Everything is drawn so carefully with great attention to detail. A lovely picture to hang in your home if you are from the area or know someone who is, someone who loves clouds and countryside, just generally someone who appreciate quality art.
Set in a solid wooden frame with inner black decoration. It is glazed with a quality double thick bevelled mount.

It retailed at a gallery at £50. There is a receipt within the envelope to the back which is dated but not the year but I would guess from the 1980s or the 1990s so the monetary value today would have probably been £75 to £85.
