Beautiful Early 20th Century Mahogany Swing Dressing Table Mirror.
Made in the early 20th century.
This mirror is beautifully made, the curved mahogany to the front of the actual mirror frame is superb and beautifully applied and finished.
The tilting access mechanism is still tight so when you move into your preferred position it will remain in situ.
As you can see in the images this is basically in very good condition, please make sure you take a good look at all of the images and utilise the zoom in facility.
Originally this mirror had two side mirrors and to the side of each of the mirror supports are two sets of three holes that have been filled where the hinges were to those mirrors. It would originally also have had finials to the top of the supports and those holes have been filled as well. The left hand side of the mirror frame is very slightly more forward down the right hand side. This is an old mirror and these things happen over time.
It still has the original thick mirror which I'm pleased to say is very well preserved.
These mirrors were also called toilet mirrors as they would sit on their window ledge in a bathroom.
This is a delightful mirror of very good quality.
