Beautiful Double Seated Edwardian Mahogany Upholstered Chair

This is a beautiful double upholstered mahogany chair of outstanding quality.
It is late Victorian or Edwardian and it's made of mahogany.
Beautifully constructed and elegant looking.
The wood has a lovely French polished finish and is completely intact. To the left hand side there are a few redundant worm holes. These have been filled in and only notice on close inspection. The small area of worm is very much historical add completely redundant.
It very much looks like this is being restored at some point when the chair was reupholstered.
The upholstery is of excellent quality and has been professionally accomplished.
The only problem with it is, probably through use, is that there is the tiniest of gaps that again only notice on close inspection to the centre of the very front. However do remember this is a very old piece of furniture and it's bound to be susceptible to the odd flaw.
I would describe the condition as very good to excellent.
These are very popular chairs as they are real statement pieces, classy and attractive but actually quite practical as they are leisurely occasional chairs but do not take up too much space.
