This is a beautiful upcycled 1920s oak side table.
The top has been stripped of the original dark finish down to the bare wood which has been oiled showing the beautiful grain at its best.
The base has been painted in a green gloss, parts have been sanded to expose the word and to leave a contemporary shabby chic finish.
I think the green really enhances the golden finish of the wood.
The drawer runs well and still boasts the original metal handle.
As you can see in the images, the table is very well preserved. As with all painted furniture do expect some idiosyncrasies to the finish as it has been hand painted.
This is a really useful size and perfect if you have a small house or flat all simply a very small space to fill.
