Smashing vintage, early retro, mid-century desk lamp - possibly 1950s? Wonderful reminder of years gone by. Heavy lamp - quality original. Lovely convex shaped base hosting the metal arm which travels up to a fantastically shaped cone lamp shade. There are some metal knobs and buttons on the lamp too. A true retro or even mid century piece so it itsn't perfect in finish - some rusted bits abound, but it is perfect for a desk or table at home where you need to move the light around.
Takes a standard bayonet lightbulb although the bayonet fitment on the inside of the lamp shade is broken. It does still work, but you should get this replaced.
This lamp has fantastic style and shape albeit not perfect with its current finish; it would look fabulous as a deks or study lamp, but would also work very well as a corner lamp, bedside lamp etc in a room looking for a 1950s or retro accent!
Being white and silver it would blend in with most colour schemes.
If you have a retro theme in a room, this would work well. But to be honest, this is a great little lamp for any room - super functional!
