A very attractive pair of Oriental style ceramic vintage lamps. Beautiful shade of blue with what I believe to be handpainted flowers, which have a slight relief/raised finish to them. The lamps are mounted on wood like bases with little feet. The flex on both lamps are long and the lamps take bayonet style bulbs. The flower detail is very pretty - romantic and peaceful. These lamps will look gorgeous in almost any room - bedroom or living room. The flowers and leaves are greens, yellows, pinks and purples - lovely against the blue background. They lamps are a pair but for some reason the colour has altered between them - one is slightly brighter than the other. I don't know why. The darker of the two is also slightly loose on its base and the metal bayonet fitment is loose too. THe lighter blue one has been 'tampered' with to make it more secure. You could try and bring the lamps up to the same colour or leave as is. They are attractive either way - please look at the photos to see what I mean. Due to their vintage age there are other marks commensurate with age, but nothing concerning. These lamps are sold as working but have not been professionally tested.
