Stunning art nouveau styled vintage lamp. Wonderful style and design with a long stem and fluted trumpet like base. Classic art nouveau design around the base. In very good condition with only the smallest of marks from age, all commensurate. In working order.
Delightfully elegant and a wonderful addition to a room - a lamp which oozes class and would carry off all sorts of different shades. Although art nouveau styling, it could fit seamlessly into many different decors. Dress up, dress down kind of lamp. Super size so definitely a lamp to be noticed.
I don't know if the lamp is a brass - it has a slightly tarnished off brass kind of look to it. Very attractive whatever finish it has.
The lamp stem still has its shade holder if required or the more traditional shade holders could be used too. The base takes a standard bayonet lightbulb and is sold as working. It has not been professionally tested however.
