Wonderful art deco style vase - likely 1930s-1940s. Solid cast brass, heavy, quality vase. Gorgeous fluted shape, with a scallopped edge and rounded base. Original patina and blemishes on the brass giving it authenticity. May have been produced in quality brass production in India or made in Britain. Wonderful vintage brass vase, perfect for use as is. 26cm tall.
This is a lovely brass piece. I found is quite by chance in amongst other items at an antique market. I knew it was something special. I have done research and because it is heavy, single cast and this delightful art deco fluted and scallopped shape, it is quite unusual and valuable. It has a lovely elegance about it.
Delightful quality vase, to be used as intended or indeed, as a display item. Has a worn felt bottom.
