Likely early 1900s, delightful small oval mirror with bevelled glass. Likely from a dressing table or other similar piece of furniture due to the delightful old metal fittings on the sides. Currently hung horizontally but can easily be amended to vertical / portrait. Glass is in VG vintage condition. Wood too. Both have signs of age and charm. Original wooden backing. This is a charming antique original mirror.
The size is perfect for a smaller space; perhaps above a bathroom sink? in a gues cloakroom? small hallway space or bedroom corner? The dark wood is very characterful - it does have signs of age incl a couple of bumps - it has been cleaned and stained but still has vintage age worn markings - but see the photos, these are not bad and rather add charm.
As with many original antique mirrors, the glass has some marking on it, but it is honestly very good for its age. You can see yourself perfectly - quality! They don't make mirrors like this anymore - it is heavy quality glass. Bevelled too!
The mirror frame also has its original wooden backing and the metal fitments on the sides - showing its age. It currently has a unappealing white wire for hanging. You may decide to alter this to a cord, or a wire or even switch to a hook so you can hang the mirror differently. As is though, it can be hung landscape wise without any worries.
