This is a stunning vintage oval stripped mahogany wall mirror, likely dating from the 1920s. The mirror is distinguished by its warm, honey-toned wooden surround, which features a delicately carved repeating bead-and-block motif encircling the glass. The craftsmanship hints at a time when pieces were built to last and made with care.
The wooden frame displays a naturally aged patina, with visible surface wear, minor scuffing, and tonal variations that are entirely in keeping with its age and vintage character. These features add to the mirror's unique charm and give it a tactile, rustic aesthetic. This is because the glossy original finish has been stripped off.
