This is a stunning and substantial antique overmantel or hall mirror, likely late Victorian or Edwardian, crafted from solid wood—possibly mahogany or walnut. It features intricate carvings and beautiful decorative elements.

The mirror has a three-panel configuration, with a large central bevelled octagonal mirror flanked by two smaller square mirrors. Each side panel is adorned with turned columns and decorative floral fan carvings. The two shell sections on either side suggest it was designed to be used as a whole piece, possibly above a fireplace, making it perfect for displaying small items like candles or ornaments.

The mirror glass on the side panels shows signs of foxing, which is common with age and adds to its authentic antique charm. The wood is in very good structural condition, with only minor wear consistent with its age.
Otherwise, the other glass is well preserved. There were two finials on the top right and left, which are now missing. There is a small piece of wood missing where the left-hand finial was, and a hole where the other was screwed in. However, when viewed from a normal angle, the missing piece is not noticeable. You can see this in the images.

The rear construction, with original timber planks, confirms its age, showing some signs of age-related splitting or shrinkage.
