Antique Mahogany Drop-Leaf Table Victorian Style Sutherland or Pembroke Side Table

This is a charming vintage or antique small drop-leaf table, often referred to as a Sutherland table, Pembroke table, or gateleg table, depending on the era and construction. Based on its turned legs and the way the leaf supports hinge out, it aligns more with the Victorian style.

Crafted from high-quality mahogany, this table boasts a rich, warm wood grain. Compact and versatile, it serves well as a side table, occasional table, or lampstand.

Its simple swivel mechanism allows you to lift the two drop-leaf sides, then smoothly swing out the supports to secure them in place. When fully extended, there is a slight surface wobble, but it remains sturdy overall.

The table is in well-aged condition. The base is well preserved, while the top shows signs of former watermarks. I have attempted to stain these to conceal them, though not with complete success—please refer to the photos for a closer look.
