Annie Sloan Hooks Contemporary Painted Shabby Chic Coat Hooks Quality Iron Hooks Bespoke Hand Painted.
I am selling the last batch of four of some beautiful bespoke coat hooks. They have been painted by hand in various Annie Sloan colours. The design is totally original, a bit abstract, very funky and well very cheerful I guess is a good way to describe them. A real lovely contemporary look with the vintage charm of the iron hooks.
The wood is old. Probably 1980’s, thick pine has been sourced sanded and painted, by hand, in Annie Sloan.
The hooks are not the cheap Chinese imports that are snappable and cost a pound each, but quality English iron ones that are three times the price and look it !
To varnish we use a ‘Polyvine’ varnish.
This is a child, pet and food safe varnish.
We apply two coats of a ‘dead flat finish’ and a ‘satin finish’ so the finish has a sheen to it.
This has all been accomplished by hand so there will be very minor imperfections to the finish, but as you can see in the images it is in great condition.
There are two guide holes, one behind each of the side hooks. You will need to unscrew these two hooks and behind them you will find the holes. Affix to the wall and replace the hooks so you have a seamless look.
The backing wood is 65.5 x 11.5 cm approx.
