Amazing Vintage 4 Fold Screen Decoupage if Punch Cartoons
Gosh, what a labour of love. To the top is an inscription ’From the Collection of Mr Punch’ 1842-1864 so I assume this is where the collection of individual cartoon have come from, mostly dealing with current affairs. The frame would have had a material covering and it has been stripped down and by the looks of it covered in card for the paper to be glued to.
As you can see in the images the front is in very good condition. The other side has some tears and for some reason some of the cartoons have not had the darlmlacqu=er or finish applied.
Otherwise as you can see it is in fine condition.
