It is either incredibly well preserved or has been restored at some point recently. There are some dents to the top where I can only assume something heavy has been displayed on a cloth, or something as the dents are almost softly subdued.
There is also a small dent moving from the centre towards the back right hand corner. There are few very small areas of filler that have been well disguised. Not perfect, but it certainly adds to the history, authenticity, and charm.
