A. Belcari Capodimonte vintage lamp (Man with Dog) and shade, made in Italy - excellent vintage condition and working.

A wonderful Capodimonte lamp signed by A. Belcari. Made in Italy. In excellent vintage condition. Likely from the 1980s. This particular figurine is of a man and his best friend, a dog. The gentleman is debonair and very smartly dressed, a member of aristocracy or upper classes. The figures are crafted in porcelain and beautifully done. There are no cracks or chips I can see to the figures. They sit upon a porcelain base, which in turn sits on a lovely wooden base with felt The brass lamp fitting is in excellent condition and the shade is just grogeous - original vintage pleated shade in salmon coloured chiffon, finished with perfectly kept tassels. The lamp is in working condition - has a decent flex and plug. It has not been professionally tested. The bulb is not included. There are of course marks commensurate with age on the base, shade (couple of tears) and figures - pls zoom in on the photos and watch the video for the full condition report. The lamp shade wires may have peeling paint on the inside. Please note I have vacuumed and dusted the lamp - the figurines will need a more delicate hand to give them a clean, due its delicate structure there are nooks and crannies I was unable to get into due to low dexterity in my fingers, but you may want to get in there and clean off. Don't get me wrong, the figures are perfectly fine as is, but they are vintage and there is opportunity to brighten up if you so wish. This is a wonderful capodimonte lamp.
