Lovely vintage original watercolour of a flower

If you are looking for a slightly different take on a floral still life, or floral painting, then this is it. It is etheral, bold and beautiful. A really close up look at a flower with surrounding foliage. The foliage is varied including even fern leaves and holly leaves. The flower is a multi coloured and widely open. It sucks you in this painting. Makes you appreciate the detail and the colours. It is likely painted by a very good amateur artist. It has the intiials B S - who knows who this might be. This may not be a piece of master art but it is lovely and will serve a wonderful purpose in someone's home. Because it is bright and colourful, it can fit in many different decors. The mount and frame are pink, so if you continue to use as is, then somewhere with essences of pink could be appropriate but then the multitude of other colours in teh painting withh enable it to be mixed and matched in many different settings, Interestingly the painting is able to be hung vertically and horizontally. Althought I think it is most likely a horizontal picture. The frame is painted pink wood, with a very light pink, or possibly even cream mount. It is glazed. The painting is in excellent condition - the mount has a couple of minor markings and the frame a little tired - but all i n all it can be jazzed up and is ready to go. A super bright colourful floral painting done by a accomplished amateur artist. Deserves to be displayed!
