1980s maroon burgundy ceramic lamp with funky floral shade - Goodson Lighting - working

They just don't make them like they used to. This is a super ceramic lamp made by Goodson Lighting Ltd in the 1980s. It is solid and attractive and in great condition. The shade may very well also come from Goodson as it is a superbly well made shade - solid and quite different in design. The brass base to the lamp is a little pitted but nothing untoward and the very top where the fitment meets the ceramic there is something that looks like glue - perhaps to gold a fitment onto the lamp at some point. The marron burgundy ceramic base is a super shade and in great condition. The glaze and ceramic is not cracked or chipped at all. There is a short flex, three prong plug and bayonet fitment. The light is sold as working but is not professionally tested. The shade fabric is floral pink silver and green. Great match with the lamp/ As I say it is superbly made. A wonderful good sized lamp for a siting room, dining room, hallway etc.
Size : lamp base 40cm tall, widest part of base is 10cm wide. The shade is 26cm deep, 30cm square. 56cm tall base and shade.
