A beautiful pair of vintage BHS bedside table lamps dating from the 1980s, these elegant lights blend Art Deco revival styling with a touch of cottagecore charm. These lamps are originally produced for BHS (British Home Stores) during the 1980s, when traditional and Art Deco-inspired lighting designs experienced a popular revival. Both lamps are fully working and PAT tested, making them safe and ready to use. They retain their original BHS labels on the felted base and feature gold-tone electrical cords with inline switches.
Excellent working order and very good vintage condition overall. The glass shades are clean and free of chips or cracks, they also carry some colour and age giving them vintage charm. The painted metal bases are purposefully made to show brass ageing, but are in excellent vintage condition with just show minor age patina, consistent with age. Wiring and plugs have been tested.
