This is a brilliant vintage find - a 1960s vintage green plastic covered metal kitchen storage rack. Able to be used for draining wet items next to the kitchen sink, or could be used as a storage unit on a kitchen counter. Has the original dark green plastic covering. Definitely vintage and showing age and wear, and completely delightful. Has ability to be hung or screwed on a wall. Great for 20-22 plates on each rack shelf.
These are such practical pieces. Lovely for keeping things on show but neatly packed away - two racks, one deep enough for dinner plates and one for smaller plates or stacking cups. Maybe you have the perfect spot for this, counter or wall mounted? Maybe you like a shabby vintage finish - still incredibly sturdy so plenty of life in it yet. Love the dark forest green colour.
These wire items are ever so popular. They can be upcycled if you are looking to improve its finish or can be left as is. The item is sturdy, I think one metal end has come loose, no others. yes the green has broken off in places and there is some rusted metal on show in places, but it is sound! I have wiped the item down but depending on your purpose of use, you may want to clean it up more.
Please note that when the item is sent a few bits of green may come loose due to the friction.
