1957 British Army Warrant – George H. Singer Appointment as Territorial Army Officer, Original Military Document, Framed & Embossed

This framed original 1957 military warrant is an official government-issued document appointing George Harold Singer as a Warrant Officer in the Territorial Army of the United Kingdom. Elegantly typeset in a blend of gothic and copperplate script, it is a stunning example of formal British military documentation from the post-war period—bearing both an embossed royal seal and period-authentic signatures.

It was issed in January 1957, under teh authority of the War Office for George Singer to serve as Warrant Officer for the Territorials. It was likely signed b an under secretary or minister at the war office at the time ( I can't decipher the signature). The Embossed Seal shows the Government crest with full emboss visible on both front and reverse. And on the rear there is annotation confirming the role.

This document would have been personally issued as an official appointment of military rank, granting legal authority and military responsibility under the Crown.
