Vintage Painted Mirror in Farrow and Ball in ‘Ammonite’ Light Grey with Gold Highlights Hand Painted Bespoke Unique
A rather lovely modernish hand painted decorative wall mirror.
Made of pine and in good solid condition and intact.
Hand decorated.
The glass is in good condition.
I have applied two coats of undercoat and three coats of Farrow and Ball Ammonite estate emulsion which has a soft sheen finish. A light grey.
I have then applied to places some acrylic artist’s gold paint.
I have wire woolled the gold, so it has a distressed look, and the hues of the bottom coats comes through.
I have also sanded some of the edges elsewhere, so the wood comes through.

Ammonite is named after the treasured fossils often found on the Dorset coast. It has a fantastically understated quality, and sits effortlessly with our Relaxed Neutrals. Neither too warm nor too cool, its subtle grey tone creates a hushed and calming feel in homes both old and new.
As with all hand painted items expect sone abnormalities and inconsistencies to the finish. There is a small blemish to the top right of the frame that I have shown in the images where a small dent has been painted over.
However, please take a good look at the images to check the very good condition as it has been recently upcycled.
