Top Quality Vintage Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Frame Thick Bevelled Glass
What is very distinctive about this mirror is the thickness and weight of the glass indicating it is a mirror of very fine quality.
It was originally from a mahogany Edwardian dressing table. The brass axis mechanism remains to both sides of the uprights. You can remove and fill but I think they add to the authenticity of the mirror.
The frame is a beautiful quality mahogany with an outstanding inlaid finish.
The glass for the age is in excellent condition with a lovely, bevelled edge.
Another indication of the top quality of a vintage mirror is that the backing is not made of board but of solid word.
I have added a couple of brass mirror plates to attach to a wall, but you may well want to change them.
The condition is very good. Some minor surface marks to the frame but please take a good look at the images to check the condition.
